• The high-density storage system includes tracks, carriages, and shelving for a complete storage system. The system has anti-tip safety mechanisms that can withstand the effects of earthquake movement required by applicable building codes.
• Tracks are ADA-approved, leveled, and grouted with a non-shrinking hydraulic cement compound.
• Carriages support 750 lbs per lineal foot of carriage length.
• Carriages are made of formed structural steel.
• Carriage wheels are precision machined 3" in diameter. Wheel bearings are permanently lubricated.
• Wheels are equipped with clutch brake assemblies to prevent free-drifting of carriages and meet L/480 deflection criteria.
• Three-spoke control handles are located 40" from the base. Handles rotate and move the carriages using a chain drive mechanism.
• Chain tension mechanisms are adjustable from the handle hub without removing the end panel.
• Handles include a push-pin carriage lock with a color-coded visual indicator to verify that carriages are locked or unlocked.
• Handles move at least 4,000 lbs with one pound of force on the handle.
• Shelving uprights recess into the carriages for additional safety.
• Vertical side panels (uprights) are closed metal panels at row ends are closed type made of 18-gauge posts with 24-gauge panels.
• All other uprights are open type.
• Shelves on fixed rows are single-entry and include backstops.
• Shelves on movable carriages are dual-entry with centerstops.
• Dual-entry shelves come with either one or two shelf reinforcements based on the size of the shelf.

• Shelves are adjustable vertically on 1.5" increments.
• File dividers (if required) are sold separately.
