Antimicrobial Shelving

Antimicrobial shelving units are specifically engineered for durability and long-lasting protection against harmful microbes, including bacteria, mold, and mildew, for up to 20 years. • Beaded front posts are fabricated from 14-gauge cold rolled steel and formed into a .75'' wide x 2.625'' deep tubular post. Beaded posts will also connect two units to the same post.
• Angle back posts are fabricated from 14-gauge steel.
• Shelves have a roll-formed tubular-shaped front and rear edge with return bends welded to the underside of the shelf on 3'' centers for maximum strength.
• Shelf corners are lapped and welded to provide a rigid corner and add extra strength to the shelf.
• The shelf surface is punched from left to right, front and back to accept dividers.
• Shelves are adjustable on 1.5'' centers using shelf clips.
• Open units come with ''X'' side and back sway braces. Braces are 1'' x 11-gauge steel strips. The braces consist of two identical pieces punched in the center for bolting together and forming an ''X'' pattern. The ends of the metal braces are rounded and punched to bolt to the posts.
• Closed units come with 24-gauge side and back panels. Panels are punched with .3125'' holes on 1'' increments along the outer edges for attaching purposes.
• For exact dimensions, add 1.25'' to the width of each row and .25'' to the depth.
• Shelf capacity is based on a uniformly distributed load and a safety factor of 1.65.
