Media Fire Safe

Our media fire safe protects computer media from fire, water, explosions, and drops up to 30 feet. They are independently tested and certified to safeguard media at 125 degrees for up to two hours. The media safes come with a special 7-pin pick-resistant lock and are pre-drilled to bolt the safe to the floor for additional security.

• The cabinet body is 20-gauge steel using a unibody-type construction.
• Insulation is asbestos-free and protects contents against magnetic interference.
• Insulation is fully encased between an inner and outer wall, keeping it out of contact with the stored data and out of the bolt and locking mechanisms.
• The outer door is insulated and has special gaskets to prevent water damage caused by fire hose spray or sprinklers.
• The safe has an insulated internal door to provide an interior compartment that will not exceed 125°F or 80% humidity during a fire.
• The interior door does not lock but uses a latching mechanism to create a secure enclosure.
• The safe is pre-drilled and includes all the hardware needed to bolt the safe to the floor.
• The safe has a special 7-pin pick-resistant dimple key lock with an easy-to-grip and turn handle.
• The safe protects all types of computer media, including tape cartridges, CDs, DVDs, removable hard drives, flash drives, memory cards, microfilm, and more.
