Product Information

Specification Table
  • Vertical side panels (uprights) are closed metal panels made of heavy-duty 18-gauge steel.
  • Shelves are adjustable vertically on 1.5"" increments. Additional shelves are available on request.
  • Shelves are supported with two heavy-duty shelf supports. Shelf reinforcements are provided depending on the size of the shelf.
  • Single-sided units have backstops on each storage level to connect vertical support dividers. Double-sided units have a centerstop in the middle of the shelf to connect support dividers and keep materials from pushing through to the other side.
  • Each shelf will hold at least 250 lbs with a total shelving unit weight capacity of 1,500 lbs. Weight capacities are based on evenly distributed, non-impact loads.
  • Single-sided units have one 2.75"" high bottom kickplate (base). Double-sided units have two 2.75"" high bottom kickplates (bases). These prevent objects from rolling under the unit.

Starter and Adder Units

  • The first unit of a shelving row needs to be a ""starter unit"" (adder units connect to starter units). An adder unit will not stand alone and must connect to a starter unit.
  • Starter units come with two closed side panels (uprights), and adder units come with open-type uprights.
  • Shelves connect to one side of the starter unit's uprights (shelves connect to both sides of the adder unit's uprights).
  • If you want complete flexibility to move units around in the future, you can purchase all starter units.
  • Single-sided units are designed to stand against a wall.
  • Double-sided units are designed to stand in the middle of a room.
