Herbarium Drying Cabinet

Our herbarium drying cabinet offers a secure method for removing moisture from pressed plant specimens. These cabinets maintain an internal temperature of up to 120 degrees to guarantee swift and thorough drying of the plant specimens. The plant drying cabinet has five adjustable vented shelves and a door-mounted digital thermostat to monitor and control the cabinet temperature. A separate fan control lets you adjust the fan speed or turn it off below the thermostat, ensuring even and efficient drying.

• Shelves are adjustable on .5" increments and vented to provide air and heat circulation.
• An electrical 3-prong 6-foot power cord plugs into the back of the cabinet (maximum Amp Usage is 10 Amps).
• The cabinet has a 120V/1000W ceramic heater.
• A digital thermostat on the door offers quick temperature monitoring (setpoint from 80°F to 120°F).
• Integrated alarm sounds if the internal temperature reaches 125°F.
• Adjustable independent fan and heater function.
• The door-mounted cabinet controller automatically activates the fan.
• Standard door hinges are on the left (right hinges are available).
• The door has a Locking handle.
• The cabinet desiccates botanical material.
