This 4-post double entry adder shelving unit is designed to extend an existing shelving run, giving facilities managers, records rooms, libraries, and warehouse operations a straightforward way to add organized storage capacity without starting from scratch. At 48'' W x 32'' D x 76.25'' H with 6 openings, it provides generous vertical and horizontal storage space that adapts to a wide range of items, from binders and files to parts and supplies.

The double entry configuration allows access from both sides of the shelving run, making it well suited for high-traffic areas where staff need to retrieve or store items quickly from either aisle. Adding this adder unit to a compatible starter section creates a continuous, stable shelving system that maximizes floor-to-ceiling storage in the available footprint.

Adder units like this one are the building blocks of scalable shelving systems. They share upright posts with adjacent sections, reducing the total number of uprights needed and keeping the overall footprint compact. This unit is intended to be paired with a compatible starter section; it is not a freestanding unit on its own. When planning a shelving run, consider the number of openings needed, the depth required for your stored items, and the available aisle clearance for double-sided access. At 142 lbs, professional installation is recommended to ensure safe assembly and structural integrity.
