This 4-post double entry starter shelving unit gives storage planners a reliable foundation for building out high-density filing and records storage systems. Standing 88.25'' tall with a 36'' W x 32'' D footprint and 7 openings, it provides substantial vertical capacity in a compact floor plan, making it a practical choice for offices, records rooms, government facilities, and institutional storage environments where floor space is at a premium.

As a starter section, this unit is designed to anchor a shelving run and accept compatible add-on sections, allowing storage capacity to grow without requiring a full system replacement. The double entry configuration supports access from both sides of the shelving bay, improving workflow in open-aisle or back-to-back arrangements.

This unit fits naturally into planned shelving installations where a certified installer will configure the system to meet the specific layout and load requirements of the space. The 7-opening layout distributes storage across the full height of the unit, keeping materials organized and accessible at multiple levels. At 260 lbs, the unit is a substantial, commercial-grade structure built for long-term use in demanding storage environments.

Key Features:

• Generous Vertical Capacity: 88.25'' height with 7 openings maximizes storage across the full height of the unit, reducing the floor space needed per stored item.
• Double Entry Access: Open from both sides of the bay, supporting back-to-back or open-aisle layouts that improve retrieval speed in active storage areas.
• Starter Section Design: Anchors a shelving run and is compatible with add-on sections, allowing the system to expand as storage needs grow.
• Substantial Construction: At 260 lbs, this is a heavy-duty commercial shelving unit built for sustained use in records, government, institutional, and office storage environments.
• Compact Footprint: The 36'' W x 32'' D base keeps the aisle-to-storage ratio efficient, making it well suited for rooms where floor space is limited.

This 4-post double entry starter shelving unit is a well-suited choice for organizations building or expanding a structured shelving system. Its tall profile, dual-access design, and expandable starter configuration make it a practical long-term investment for high-density storage planning.
