Heavy Duty Shelving

Our heavy duty shelving systems are ideal for the most challenging storage applications requiring maximum strength. Their unique tubular post design provides more than twice the load capacity of standard posts. The adjustable shelves are reinforced to provide rigidity, ensuring the safe and efficient storage of tools, motors, heavy equipment components, and a wide array of heavy items. These units are great for multi-level mezzanine and seismic applications (may require additional bracing).

• Posts are made from 14-gauge steel, roll-formed, and welded into a 1.5'' wide x 3'' deep tubular heavy-duty "H" type post.
• Posts are punched on 1.5'' centers to receive shelf clips. Rear flanges are punched for the attachment of side panels.
• Shelves have a roll-formed tubular-shaped front and rear edge with return bends welded to the underside of the shelf on 3'' centers for maximum strength.
• Shelf corners are lapped and welded to provide a rigid corner and add extra strength to the shelf.
• Shelf surface is punched from left to right, front and back to accept dividers.
• Shelves are adjustable on 1.5'' centers using shelf clips.
• Shelf clips are one-piece zinc-plated compression clips.
• Closed units come with 24-gauge side and back panels. Panels are punched with .3125'' holes on 1'' increments along the outer edges for attaching purposes.
• Open units come with ''X'' sway braces for the sides and back. Braces are 1'' x 11-gauge steel strips. The braces consist of two identical pieces punched in the center for bolting together and forming an ''X'' pattern. The ends of the metal braces are rounded and punched to attach to the front and back posts.
• Footplates are 2.25'' by 3.5'' 11-gauge steel with a bracket for fastening to posts. The plate has a .437'' diameter hole for floor anchoring.
• For exact dimensions, add 3'' to the width of each row and .25'' to the depth.
