How the Ebb & Flow Tray Works:
Flood Cycle: Water or nutrient solution is introduced into the plastic tray so plant containers can absorb moisture from below.
Root Zone Soaking: The tray can hold approximately 1" of water during the watering cycle, allowing containers to soak through the bottom of the root zone.
Drain Cycle: After watering, the tray drains so water does not remain standing on the bench surface between cycles.
Level Surface Requirement: A level bench helps water distribute and drain more evenly, which is why leveling adjustment matters for ebb and flow applications.
