When your storage needs outgrow a single shelving bay, this double-sided 4-post adder unit lets you extend an existing shelving row without starting over. At 42'' W x 26'' D x 88.25'' H with 7 openings, it delivers substantial vertical and horizontal capacity in a footprint designed to connect directly to a compatible starter section.

Built for high-density storage environments, this adder unit is ideal for offices, records rooms, warehouses, libraries, and government facilities where organized, accessible storage is a daily priority. Its double-sided configuration means both faces of the unit can be loaded, effectively doubling the storage surface within the same floor space.

Adder units are designed to share upright posts with an adjacent starter or adder section, which reduces the total number of posts needed and keeps your shelving row structurally efficient. This unit slots into a growing row to add 7 openings of usable shelf space, making it a practical choice when a facility is expanding storage capacity in phases or reconfiguring an existing layout. Because this is a configured, made-to-order product, lead times and finish options should be confirmed at the time of order.

Key Features:

• Double-Sided Configuration: Shelving openings on both faces of the unit maximize storage density without increasing floor space requirements.
• 7 Openings: Provides generous shelf capacity across the full height of the unit, supporting organized storage of files, binders, boxes, or supplies.
• 42'' W x 26'' D x 88.25'' H Footprint: Tall, deep profile suits high-density storage rows in records rooms, warehouses, and institutional facilities.
• 4-Post Adder Design: Connects to a compatible starter section by sharing uprights, reducing hardware redundancy and keeping rows structurally sound.
• Made in the USA: Domestically manufactured for consistent quality and reliable lead times from a U.S.-based production facility.

This double-sided 4-post adder shelving unit is a straightforward way to grow an existing storage row with 7 additional openings at a full 88.25'' height. It ships at approximately 206 lbs, so freight and installation planning should be factored into your project timeline.
